(Without Spending a Dime!)

"There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort." - Jane Austen

Feeling bored with your home's current look, but don't want to spend any money on a makeover?

Refreshing your home doesn't have to come with  a hefty price tag.

So let's get started on refreshing your home, without breaking the bank!

1.

stART FRESH

Start by clearing the space of everything. Surface clutter, decor, and if you can, furniture! This allows you to see the space with fresh eyes.

Starting fresh by clearing out a room can be a cathartic experience, as it can help reduce stress and increase motivation.

So if you're feeling stuck in a room, try clearing it out completely and see how it can transform your space and your mindset.

2.

declutter

Getting rid of items that you no longer use or need can make your space feel refreshed and spacious.

Go through your closet, drawers, and cabinets and donate or sell items that are still in good condition.

You'll not only create more space, but also feel more organized.

2.

Deep Clean

Give your home a deep clean. Dust surfaces, clean windows, and scrub floors.

Cleaning your space allows you to get rid of any dirt, dust, or grime that contributes to feeling stagnant. As well as any underlying odors you may not even notice anymore!

This will not only refresh your home, but also give you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

Alternatively, you can use herbs such as mint, basil, or lavender to infuse the air with a fresh and calming aroma.

4.

Rearrange

One way to refresh your home is by rearranging your furniture. Or switching up your art and decor can also refresh your home.

Try swapping out photos in frames or moving artwork to different walls. You can even create a gallery wall with existing art and frames.

Try moving your sofa to a different wall, or switching the position of your chairs and tables. This simple change can create a new look and feel to your space.

shop your home

Use what you already have! Shop your home for items that can be repurposed.

5.

Repurpose something you already have and give it a new life.

Or give a beloved item a much-needed makeover and enjoy it for many more years to come.
