If you love adding whimsy to your gardening experience these DIY seed packets might just be it. I’m a huge fan of everything vintage so I tried to create charming designs that exude nostalgia and elegance. But first, let’s talk about some of the wonderful reasons seed packet envelopes just make sense for gardening enthusiasts.
Packaging Your Own Seeds: A Personal Connection to Your Garden
As a garden enthusiast myself the idea of packaging my own seeds just makes sense. You take the time to curate your seed collection, grow your seedlings, plant them, and tend to your garden all season. Then these wonderful plants are at the end and all you’ve invested into them deserves saving!
A Fun Way to Be Creative in Your Seed Storage
Seed saving is a spectacular way to take gardening to the next level of frugality. I don’t know about you, but I lean toward the expensive heirloom seeds. The quality and history behind them pretty much scream to be saved!
The more great seeds you save from your own gardens from last year, the more you can grow this year without purchasing more.
Now, you can definitely create your own little seed packets using your own envelopes, or brown paper bags. In fact, you can use these packet templates to cut your own seed packet envelopes from any paper you fancy. Including, beautiful scrapbook paper!
